Calendar & appointments

Set your availability

Choose the days and hours people can book, and whether you approve each request.

Your availability tells the assistant when it may offer appointment times. It never offers a time outside these hours.

Only the pastor and admins can change it. Others see "Only the pastor or an admin can change this."

Change your availability

  1. Open Calendar and choose the Availability tab.
  2. Set the Appointment length.
  3. Under New requests, choose Need my approval or Confirm automatically.
  4. Check the Timezone. All times use it.
  5. Under Weekly hours, go to each day and tap Add hours. Set a start and end. You can add more than one block in a day, and remove one you do not need.
  6. Under Blackout dates, tap Add blackout to mark days off. Choose a first day, and an optional last day.
  7. Tap Save availability. You see "Availability saved".

If there are no days off, it says "No days off are set."

Approval or automatic

  • Need my approval: every request waits until you tap Approve or Decline. See Appointments and the calendar.
  • Confirm automatically: the person is booked at once, with no waiting.

Tip: If you are new to this, start with Need my approval until you are happy how it works.

Busy times on Google

If you connect Google Calendar, times when you are already busy there are not offered. See Google Calendar.
