Calendar & appointments
Connect Google Calendar
Show appointments in Google Calendar and stop people booking when you are busy.
When you connect Google Calendar, appointments appear on your phone's calendar. Times when you are already busy in Google are not offered to people booking.
Connect
- Open Calendar. If a banner says "Sync with Google Calendar", tap Set up. Or go to Settings, then Integrations.
- Find Google Calendar for your number and tap Connect Google Calendar.
- Sign in with your Google account and allow access.
You then see "Google Calendar is connected." and the badge says Connected.
Only the pastor and admins can connect it. Others see "Only the pastor or an admin can change this connection."
Badges
- Connected: working.
- Needs reconnecting: Google asked you to sign in again. Appointments are not reaching Google Calendar until you do.
- Not connected: not set up yet.
Sign in again
If the Calendar page says "Google Calendar needs you to sign in again", tap Fix in Settings. Then tap Reconnect and sign in.
Disconnect
Tap Disconnect. You see "Google Calendar disconnected".
If it does not work
- "Google Calendar was not connected because access was declined." You tapped cancel or did not allow access. Try again and allow it.
- "That sign-in link expired. Please try again." Start again from Connect Google Calendar.
- "Google Calendar could not be connected. Please try again."
- "Google sign-in is not set up on this server yet. Ask an admin." The button is greyed out until an admin sets it up.
