Tasks & follow-ups
Follow-ups
Have your assistant ask a leader how a task is going, once or on a schedule.
A follow-up means your assistant messages the leader on WhatsApp, asks how the task is going, and writes down the answer. You then see the update on the task card.
Ask for an update now
On a task card, tap Follow up now. You see "Follow-up started". If one is already running, the card says "A follow-up is already in progress."
Set up follow-ups on a task
When you add or edit a task, find Follow up.
- None: no automatic follow-up.
- Once: choose a Date and Time. The time must be in the future.
- Repeat: choose how often.
- Set Every and the unit, such as days or weeks.
- If it is weekly, choose the days.
- Set the Time and the date it is Starting.
- Choose Stop: When the task is done, or After the due date (shown once the task has a due date).
Follow-up times use Ghana time.
What you see after
The leader's reply shows on the card as Latest update. The assistant looks for a clear status, and any blockers or a new due date. A blocker shows in red on the card. Until they reply, the card says "No updates yet".
Stop follow-ups
Edit the task and choose None, or tap Close if the work is finished.
