Hand people to telepastoring

Some people are better reached by a phone call. You can hand a group or chosen people to the telepastoring team. They phone each person and report back.

Hand people over

You start from Contacts.

1. For one group: open the Groups tab, tap the group's menu and choose Hand to telepastoring.
2. For chosen people: on the All tab, tick them and tap Hand to telepastoring in the bar.
3. Choose the Number, if asked.
4. Answer What are the calls for?
5. Add What should callers say or cover? (optional).
6. Under Questions to ask (optional), tap Add a question for each thing you want asked.
7. Set Finish by (optional) and add a Note to telepastoring (optional).
8. Tap Hand to telepastoring. You see "Handed to telepastoring".

Before you send, the form shows how many people will be called and who is left out. Only people saved as contacts on one of your numbers can be handed over.

Follow progress

Open Telepastoring hand-offs under Scheduling. Each hand-off shows its status:

• Waiting for telepastoring: not yet accepted.
• Being called: calls have started. Progress reads, for example, "12 of 40 reached".
• Finished: all done.
• Declined, with the reason they gave.

Tap one to see each person's status, tries, last result and answers. The counts are People, Reached, Still to call and Not reached.

Download the results

On a hand-off page, choose Results as CSV or Results as Excel.
