Settings & oversight

General settings

For admins

Reply timing, consent notice, escalation contacts and other church-wide settings.

Open Settings. Admins see the tabs General, Organisation, Branding and Integrations. Pastors see only Integrations, for Google Calendar.

What you can change in General

  • AI: the AI provider, Model routing, AI nudge and Embedder. These are technical. Leave them as they are unless the developer tells you to change them.
  • Reply timing: how long the assistant waits before reading, and how fast it types. Choose Fast, Moderate, Slow or Custom.
  • Consent notice: the notice you print with your numbers. Each person's consent records which version they saw.
  • Data retention: the number of months after which conversations are anonymised each night.
  • Escalation contacts: the users who are alerted last when an urgent alert goes unacknowledged by the pastor and delegates. Keep these up to date. See Urgent messages.
  • Template approval: the Template approval score needed, from 50 to 100 (80 by default). Pastors can send a template to Meta only when its approval score reaches this. Admins can still send after a warning. Select Save on the card.
  • Quality: the latest nightly check of each assistant.
  • About: the version and the changelog.

Change a setting

  1. Open Settings › General.
  2. Change the setting.
  3. Select the save button on that card: Save for Reply timing and Data retention, Save notice for Consent notice, Save contacts for Escalation contacts. The AI settings save as soon as you change them.

Important: Changing data retention affects how long people's data is kept. Agree it with your church leadership first.

For church name and address, see Organisation and branding. For connections to outside services, see Church services (integrations).
