What the Pastoral Assistant does

ABMTC Pastoral Assistant gives you a digital assistant on your own WhatsApp number. It answers the people who message you, kindly and in your church's voice, and tells you when someone needs a pastor.

This portal is where you look after it.

What you can do here

• Read every conversation as it happens in Live chats, and step in whenever you want. See Live chats.
• Teach your assistant in Train my assistant. You chat with a trainer, and nothing changes until you approve it. See Train with the trainer.
• Get alerts on your own WhatsApp when someone needs you urgently. See Alerts on your WhatsApp.
• Keep your people organised in Contacts, give leaders Tasks, and manage appointments in Calendar.

Finding your way around

The menu on the left groups the pages: Chats, Messaging, Scheduling, and Settings at the bottom, with How-to guides just above it. On a phone, tap the menu button at the top left to open it.

Getting help

These guides are always open to read. Search them from the box at the top of the page, or browse the topics in the menu. When you are signed in, the Help button at the bottom right of the portal answers questions and can check your setup for you.
