Someone asks if they're talking to a person

What the assistant says when asked, and how to change how it introduces itself.

People sometimes ask whether they are talking to a real person. The assistant answers honestly.

Check these first

What it says

If someone sincerely asks, the assistant says it is the pastor's digital assistant and not a person. It also says the pastors read the messages and offers to connect them with a pastor. This answer is fixed for honesty and cannot be trained away.

It never says this unprompted. It only answers when asked.

How it introduces itself

Who can fix it: an admin. Go to Assistants & channels, open the assistant and look at Identity. See How it introduces itself and Display name.

The person wants a real pastor

Who can fix it: you. Open the chat in Live chats, select Take over and reply yourself. See Take over a chat.

Tip: If someone is upset to learn they were talking to an assistant, take over the chat and reply personally.
